Hi everyone!
Romance is definitely dominating the trends of this season. Romantic lace showed up as an equal competitor to the floral print. A little bit of sweetness and innocence paired with sexiness make this romantic fabric alluring and trendy.
Lace has been a huge trend from the runways since spring 2011 and it has also popped up in spring/summer collections for 2012. We could see it at Valentino, Elie Saab,Dolce & Gabbana and Anna Sui. This season, however, lace lives up to its femininity but also modernizes with color and function. Designers chose a sensual soft route using whites and creams. This season delicate, soft, and feminine fabric truly accents our sophisticated silhouettes. We can see it everywhere in dresses, tops, shorts and pants – and my choice for today post are lace shorts. They seem to be popping up everywhere these days.
I personally really love them, because they’re feminine and can spice up every outfit. I really think lace can be the perfect blend of sweet innocence and sexy when done right.
So, how to wear lace shorts? First of all, key is a balance.
Remember you have to be careful not to get ones that are too short, otherwise, you will be dangerously close to underwear territory. You can combat looking overly sexy by pairing lace with more structured pieces like a blazer and shirt. For night out wear it with heels and for casual look paired with a sweater, leather jacket and biker boots.
In my look I have paired cream lace short from Blanco with floral shirt from Lefties. I love both of these trends and I think that this combination looks quite chic. To create more elegant and classic look, I paired it with white tuxedo blazer from Mango.

Koronka jest tendencja na wybiegach od wiosny 2011 roku i w tegorocznych pokazach pojawila się z jeszcze wiekszą silą. Nie zabraklo jej w kolekcjach wiosna / lato 2012 u Valentino, Elie Saab, Dolce & Gabbana i Anny Sui. Jednakze w tym roku projektanci postawili na subtelne i zmysłowe kolory jak kosc sloniowa, bez i biel oraz stworzenie jeszcze bardziej zmyslowych sylwetek. W tym roku mogliśmy zobaczyć koronki wszędzie, na sukienkach, bluzkach i spodniach, ale w dzisiejszym poscie chcialabym się skoncentrowac tylko na szortach z koronki. Osobiście uwielbiam ich zmysłowość i to jak potrafią dodac blasku do kazdego stroju.
Ponizej parę porad jak je nosic.
W moim dzisiejszym zestawie, mam na sobie biale koronkowe szorty Blanco i koszulę w kwiaty z Mango. Aby stworzyć jeszcze bardziej elegancki i klasyczny outfit, założyłam do kompletu biały smoking z Mango.
