One of the most amazing experience ever. My first time at NYFW and I was able to see Carolina Herrera backstage, that why I repeat never stop dreaming!
It was so exiting to have access to some of NYFW backstage and learning about new hair trends for upcoming season. We were also able to talk with TRESemmé stylists like Justine Matjan, who share us some tips on how to create the coolest hairstyles directly from from our favourite fashion shows.
Today I want to share you some tips we learn at Carolina Herrera, Jason Wu, Creatures of Comforts and Cushnie et Ochs backstages.
Una de las experiencia más increíbles en este viaje a NYFW, era la oportunidad de poder conocer el backstage de Carolina Herrera, mi sueño se cumplió! Tener acceso a diferentes backstage y desfiles que antes podría ver solo en tele fue muy emocionante. Ademas pude conocer varios estlistas de TRESemmé como Justine Matjan, que nos compartieron algunos consejos sobre cómo crear los mejores peinados vistos en los desfiles y tambien las tendencias que viene.
Por eso hoy os quiero compartir algunos trucos que aprendimos en el backstage de Carolina Herrera, Jason Wu, Criaturas de Comodidad y Cushnie et Ochs.
CAROLINA HERRERA
Sleek Is Chic was hair theme for Carolina Herrera S/S 2018 collection. Odile Gilbert, TRESemmé NYFW Stylist, created smooth, effortless and straight hairstyles.
To create this look Odile used TRESemmé Keratin Smooth Heat Protect Spray at damp hair and apply TRESemmé TRES Two Extra Hold Mousse to the roots, which gave hair some body. Than she blow-dry all hair and use a curling iron to soften the ends and create subtle curve. Then she put hair behind ears and secure the look with TRESemmé TRES Two Freeze Hold Hair Spray for a neat finish.
Sleek Is Chic, es la frase que puede resumir el peinado que vimos en el desfile de Carolina Herrera S/S 2018. Odile Gilbert, estilista de TRESemmé, creó unos peinados lisos, sin esfuerzo, pero con un acabado de mucho brill.
Para crear este look Odile utilizó TRESemmé Keratin Smooth Heat Protect Spray en el cabello húmedo y aplicó TRESemmé TRES Dos Mousse Extra Hold en las raíces, que dió un poco del cuerpo al cabello. El siguiente paso era secar el pelo y usar un rizador para suavizar las puntas y crear una sutil curva. Para un acabado limpió usó TRESemmé TRES Dos Freeze Spray Fijador.
CREATURES OF COMFORT
I think this was one of the easiest hairstyles I saw at the backstage, it took Justine about 5 minutes to make it done. It was all about giving the impression that model just got back from the desert or safari and ran their hands through their hair. Justine give the hair a beach waves vibe thanks to a heavy amount of TRESemmé TRES Two Mousse applied on dry hair.
It was about giving effortless and minimal look that will reflect the collection of Creatures of Comfort.
Creo que este fue uno de los peinados más fácil que vi en el backstage, que tomó Justine unos 5 minutos para hacerlo. Se trataba de dar la impresión de que la modelo acaba de regresar del desierto o safari y se pasó las manos por el pelo.
Justine le dio al cabello un toque de ondas playeras con la ayuda de TRESemmé TRES Dos Mousse aplicada sobre el cabello seco. Creando un estilo relajado como la colección de Creatures of Comfort.
CUSHNIE ET OCHS THE LOOK
Definitely one of my favourite hair styles of the season. One-side top knot created by Justine Marjan was such a powerful look.
To recreate this look TRESemmé team used a lot of Smooth Color Smoothing Serum into models’ hair from root to tip before dividing strands into two ponytails and twisting them together into a bun.
Choose the side you feel works best for your face. And for final touch spray a toothbrush with the TRESemmé TRES Two Freeze Hold Hair Spray and lightly brush down any baby hair.
Definitivamente uno de mis peinados favoritos de esta semana de moda. El nudo que toma forma de un bollo de lado creado por Justine Marjan fue uno de los looks más llamativos y con poder en NYFW. Para recrear este peinado, el equipo de TRESemmé usó mucho crema para alisar el cabello de raíz a punta antes de dividirlo en dos colas y retorcerlos juntos en un bollo.
JASON WU
Jason Wu chose to give the models a version of shower wet hair. We could side-parted, slicked-back waves and smudgy cat eyes. Hair stylist used Tresemmé’s TRES Two Hair Gel to get the look.
But the most exciting thing about that backstage was that I could see Bella Hadid!!! She is so pretty.

Jason Wu optó por dar a los modelos un look como de la ducha, con pelo que tienen aspecto de mojado y fresco. Con unas ondas delicadas separadas a un lado y combinadas con eye cat makeup. Todo con la ayuda de TRES Two Hair Gel de Tresemmé.
